My friend just bought one of these on eBay for her baby Zoey. I played with it most of the afternoon. Zoey sucked on her teething ring. Guess who had more fun and wasn't covered in slobber afterward? :)

Bring your own frying pan

My mom recently had an appointment with a doctor whose office is in an old, converted house. Original wood floors (I'm guessing), two fireplaces in the waiting room, and other neat things.


I'm guessing that carpet's original, too. Because yikes.


And in case you had any doubt that this place was once a house, there's this little beauty. In the middle of the waiting room. Displaying vitamins they have for sale. Yeah.


I spent most of the time trying to figure out why on earth they hadn't gotten rid of this thing. Because don't tell me you can't afford a crappy coffee table from WalMart.

Zoo revisited

Face off.

Birds that lined the fences on both sides down an entire walkway. And Ali, if you think this is bad, I'm sparing you from the worst. This zoo had an overabundance of freaky-looking birds.
