Great Blue Heron

Not exactly what I was expecting to see hanging out in the backyard. Considering the nearest body of water is nowhere near here.



This guy would have nearly come up to my shoulder if I was standing next to him. Not that I did. Because no.

      First one I took through my window. Second one I went outside for, and that's when he extended his neck and looked suspiciously ready to attack. Now let's talk about terrifying.
