September 11 Weekend Photos: The art of tailoring

So last weekend I bought some jeans at Old Navy for $2.85. They were about 2 feet too long for me, but for under 3 bucks, what did I care?


Professional tailoring = $0.




I think I may have missed my calling.

    Are those the scissors you offered me to cut your hair? Good thing I found scissors that don't do that kind of damage!

    oh! Too bad we hadn't talked before hand. I just learned a foolproof way of hemming jeans. poor jeans.

    Liz! Of course! I'm annoyed with myself that you and your sewing skills didn't come to mind. I attempted to hand-sew them and after 2 seconds said "Forget this" and out come the shears.
