MCP Photo Project 52: Week 1

So this year instead of posting whatever photos I want every weekend like I did last year, I decided I wanted something a little more focused. I'm not disciplined enough to do a 365 project, so instead I'm doing the MCP Project 52, where you post a photo every week based on a certain theme given. It's run by a few different photographers and if you don't like the theme they come up with, they tell you to just branch off that week and do your own thing. Considering I'm already 3 weeks behind, we'll see how long I keep this up . . .

Week 1: Around the House

Part of the aftermath of me baking a cake that my aunt makes so much better. Lesson learned.

  1. Nice idea. Someone else chooses the subject instead of my racking my brain. I think I'll try it. Send the link to my e-mail, please.

  3. Ooh, I rather like this idea. What cake were you making? Aunt Sherry's banana cake?

  4. I tried to make the Gooey Butter Cake but it didn't taste much like Aunt Sherry's. Stupidly I used a recipe I found online instead of getting hers, and I'm pretty sure I messed up the baking time as well. It was bound for disaster.
