I give you permission to be jealous

iPhone photo. Because I couldn't be bothered to lug a DSLR all over Manhattan in -3 degree weather.

  1. But was he good? Was he better than Harry Potter?

    1. Oh yeah, I guess I could have said something about his performance. I never saw Daniel, but I thought Darren Criss was really good. His acting was great and I loved his treatment of the character; the singing was good but not great. I don't think he has a strong enough or big enough voice for Broadway. It was weak at several points; then again he only had 2 weeks to learn the show, so he deserves leeway there. Still incredibly enjoyable, though. :)

    2. Wow, I'm surprised about his voice. I think he's the strongest male singer on Glee (but that's probably not saying much) and they have him do a lot of Broadway-type singing on there. But TV and live stage are so different.

    3. I agree with you about his status on Glee, which is why I was surprised about his performance (although in Glee they always record in the studio and then they're lip syncing when they film it). The song where it was the most noticeable he was dancing as well, so maybe he hadn't gotten the breath control down.

    1. Thanks! My favorite of the set from his 3-year-old shots.
