October 23 Weekend Photos: Virginia

Last weekend Jen, Al, and Julia were heading to Virginia, so I tagged along. We had a great time visiting, and even got to see Jackie's house -- about 5 days before she had to move out of it!

About a week ago my cousin had a two-day conference in Princeton, so I went along to play babysitter to her 3-month-old, Jack.



The hotel/conference center is seated on several acres of picturesque land, so one afternoon I took him for a walk around the grounds.




Jack could barely contain his excitement.


He perked up once he saw his toys again. :)

October 2 Weekend Photos: NYC

Last week I took my friend to NYC to see Anthony Rapp's show, which is part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival this year. It was amazing.


We also walked around the city quite a bit, and since it was her first time in New York, it ended up being a very, um, touristy trip (i.e. we stopped in every novelty store we passed). I think we spent 40 minutes in the M&M store alone. And no, there is not 40 minutes' worth of stuff to look at in there, in case you were wondering.
